First bent going up, with all the rigging on and bracing on. It was tricky to get positioned around the back side of the loft. We put up the central loft area with its cantilever beams, etc, the day before with a telescoping forklift. Once Bent # 1 was up and held in position by the crane, we hand installed the remaining timbers and joists in the loft system. We then braced Bent #1, and brought up Bent #2 to tie together the first section of the timber frame structure.

Nice details. The steel with oak wedges was very liked by all, though it had been a challenge to install and get to fit perfectly right. But a sweet result, so a great detail!
The full timber frame is 30’ wide by 58’ long, and has 6 Bents and a principle rafter/purlin roof system. It was then enclosed by the contractor and an installation crew with structural insulated panels.
